Жермен Дефоның голдары Англияны жеңіске жеткізген кезде Soccer Aid's Angry Ginge қайтадан жарқырайды.
Soccer Aid 2026 took place at the London Stadium on Sunday evening, bringing together celebrities and footballing legends to raise money for UNICEF
Soccer Aid was back for the 2026 edition as footballing legends and celebrities join together to raise money for UNICEF. The game sees England take on a World XI, with both teams aiming to lift the trophy in what is the 20th year of the match.
World XI won last year, reclaiming the title back from England in what was the team's sixth win in the last seven years. But it was England who came out on top this time around.
A goal from Damson Idris and a Jermain Defoe brace saw England race into a 3-0 win. World XI did stage a comeback in the second half thanks to goals from Michael Essien and Tim Cahill.
But, with Joe Marler in goal, England were able to see out the win to claim the trophy for the second time in three years.
For England, former professionals include Wayne Rooney, Defoe, Jill Scott, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Joleon Lescott. They were joined by celebrities including Tom Hiddleston, Danny Dyer, Jack Whitewall, Olly Murs and Marler.
For the Rest of the World XI, Jordi Alba, Leonardo Bonucci, Dimitar Berbatov and Nemanja Matic were joined by the likes of Nicky Byrne, Dermot Kennedy and Nitro (Harry Aikines-Aryeetey) from Gladiators.
Over the 19 years so far, Soccer Aid has raised more than £121 million for UNICEF, who support children and families around the world. It was confirmed that over £16 million has so far been raised on the night.

As a 90s kid this makes me pretty excited - who doesn't want to see Woody and Jessie with Tom Hanks on a football pitch?

Yes, it's real...not something I thought that I'd see today. It sort of sums up Soccer Aid in a way, in what has been another memorable night.
We've given our thoughts on how every player (and there were quite a few of them) performed tonight.
Take a look at the scores dished out right here.

Wayne Rooney and Angry Ginge lift the Soccer Aid Trophy together. Nessun Dorma plays in the background as fireworks and pyro lights up the London Stadium behind them.
Most importantly, more than £16million has been raised for UNICEF this evening, taking the historic total from the event to around £137million.
The World XI looked set to equalise at the last minute, but Lukas Podolski opted to square the ball instead of take a shot at Joe Marler.
Not long after, the referee blows the whistle to signify the end of the match and England are victorious.
The final score was England 3-2 World XI.
For the second year in a row, Angry Ginge has been handed the man of the match award.
The YouTuber has put in another impressive display, playing the full match and making one crucial clearance of the line earlier in the game.
When the news was announced, a massive smile appeared on Ginge's face.
Paddy McGuinness has just entered the game. He has come on for Jack Whitehall, who has not bee on the pitch for too long.
McGuinness has become the first ever player to make 10 appearances in the iconic charity match, cementing his place in the game's history.

Michael Essien has scored a brilliant goal to reduce the deficit.
Joe Marler almost made a great save to deny him, but didn't get enough on the ball, which flew into the back of the net.
It was Essien's final touch of the ball.
World XI are attacking, but Defoe gets in on the counter-attack. He again beats O'Dowd.
He's played in by Jade Moore and he lifts it over O'Dowd to double England's lead.
He is now the top scorer in Soccer Aid's history.
With the two celebrities now in goal, things start to get more interesting.
Joe Marler for England came to collect a ball, but fumbled, giving Maisie Adams a chance, she was denied by a goalline clearance by Angry Ginge.
Chris O'Dowd then produced an impressive flying save to deny England's Theo Walcott.
Just in case you've not caught Damson Idris' opening goal yet.
As mentioned, if VAR was in play, then there may have been a shout for offside, but the technology is not being used tonight - much to the delight of England fans.
Tom Hiddleston is now carrying out an emotional speech, summing up the 20-year history of Soccer Aid. The charity football match has raised more than £121million for charity and has raised £8million just for today.
Robbie Williams will also be performing in front of the tens of thousands of people watching the match at the London Stadium.
Michael Sheen has sent a dig towards the linespersons officiating at Soccer Aid. Sheen has featured in the iconic charity match as captain in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016.
However, he was a pundit instead of a player or a coach. It was there he had a dig at the officiating at the London Stadium when England scored their first goal.
Damson Idris, on his Soccer Aid debut, appeared to be offside by quite a distance when he sent a clever finish past Edwin van der Sar. Sheen was also adamant he was offside, when he said: "Back in my day we played with the offside rule."
England lead 1-0 thanks to Damson Idris' goal.
Wayne Rooney for England and Nabhaan Rizwan for World XI have come close to scoring.
Rooney is denied by a great save by Van der Sar. He beat his defenders and got through one-on-one with the World XI goalkeeper.
But his shot was tipped onto the post by Van der Sar.
And it's Damson Idris on his Soccer Aid debut!
He took the goal really well, against former United goalkeeper Van der Sar.
He may have been offside, but take nothing away from the finish, or the flop celebration.
Players are giving everything, and tackles are flying in. Rizwan has been one of the standout players for World XI so far, forcing a couple of good saves from Joe Hart, although he has just kicked Angry Ginge in the chest in an attempted bicycle kick.

We've had a physical battle between Wayne Rooney and Michael Essien, and a brilliant save from Joe Hart to deny Rizwan and a couple of corners for World XI.
Despite his age, Owen Cooper is impressing at right-back for England.
The Toy Story star was involved X-rated incident earlier in the show.
During an interview with pitchside reporter and England player GK Barry, alongside co-star Tom Hanks in the tunnel before the match, Allen said: B******g, but it didn't prompt an apology from ITV.
The teams are making their way out of the tunnel.
There are a few nervous and excited-looking faces as the teams line up.
Hollywood stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are bringing the match ball ready for kick-off.
Ahead of kick-off, comedian and England's Jack Whitehall has received a message on social media from his father, Michael.
In typical fashion, he was written on X: "Good luck at Soccer Aid tonight, @jackwhitehall."
Alongside the message he has shared a video of the viral moment from kids football a few years ago, where a father pushes his child to save a goal.
However, he has added Jack's, his, and Winston Whitehall's (a doll they got during the Travels with my father series), face on the video.
The Adolescence star becomes the youngest ever player in the 20-year history of Soccer Aid.
The actor is just 16 years old, meaning that he wasn't even born when the first Soccer Aid match took place back in 2006.
That is certainly making me feel old....
